Still, there are a lot of optimal builds to use or be inspired by. On higher difficulties, certain encounters might require more work with "suboptimal builds". On the 3 lowest difficulties, any build and most playstyles can do well enough without too much of a struggle. It depends a bit on which difficulty you play on. Rogues are one of the best multi classes, but worst pure class, so only multi class rogues imo. Leave might alone, you'll do better with all the Crits and multiple spell cast chances.Ĭhanters are amazing in turn based with multi classing, a chanter fighter or paladin is a crazy tank. Max perception max intelligence, the rest into dex. Weapons typically are pistols or wands or maybe one of each. One of my favourite builds is a pure evoker wizard if you wanna be crazy damage dealer that brings down meteor storms and stuff. You can reset skills and level ups for a small fee at taverns, so later in game you can always redistribute party member skills to change who specializes in what to better hone your party. And have at least one party member focus on mechanics, maybe 2 if you plan on swapping a lot,you basically always want one guy who's good with mechanics in your party, and a good idea to always have one good in diplomacy. Your main character you want at least 1 in every of the party skills, and then I typically focus on 2 party skills to get to 10+ on raw skill.įor your party members, try to have one that specializes in diplomacy, one in bluff, one in history, one on metaphysics. Might is overrated, especially for casters, so I wouldn't focus too much on might (but I wouldn't dump it either), perception is still better (chance to hit, increase misses to grazes, grazes to hit, and Crit chance).įor skills, every character wants at least a few points in athletics for the second wind healing ability. So I wouldn't dump a stat below 7.ĭexterity is best for casters, especially priests and Druids (as their spells typically take longest to cast), but perception is still king even for casters. Perception is the best attribute, resolve is still the worst for most builds, but Poe balances skills well enough that min max builds aren't necessary nor the best.
